High School Graduation Requirements
Students must successfully earn a minimum of 23 credits to graduate and participate in required state testing. Be sure to check your school handbook for updates.
The course credits required to graduate include:
- Language arts: 4 credits (including English 9 and American Literature)
- Math: 4 credits (including Algebra, Geometry and Algebra II)
- Science: 4 credits (including Biology; Physical Science or Physics; Chemistry, Environmental Science, Earth Science or an AP Science)
- Social studies: 3 credits (including U.S. History, World History, Economics, and Government)
- Personal Fitness: 0.5 credit
- Health: 0.5 credits
- Electives: 7 credits (including as 3 Career/Technology,World Language, and/or Fine Arts)
