The Online School Experience at Wyoming Connections Academy

I became a teacher because I like sharing my knowledge and excitement about science and math. I also love interacting with students and getting them excited about learning. The atmosphere at WYCA is fun and laid back, and my coworkers are great.

I love teaching at WYCA because I love the conversations I get to have with my students during calls and LiveLesson sessions. The benefit of teaching at an online school is that I get to hear about events that my students are participating in around the state and country.

My Teaching Background

An education at WYCA helps prepare students for a bright and successful future, as it teaches students to be responsible and to self-advocate. They figure out how they learn best and can use that information for the rest of their lives.

Our school community is so special because the support that is able to be cultivated at this school is amazing. If I could tell a prospective parent one thing as they are making a decision to enroll, it would be to make sure to agree upon a work schedule for school with your child and not to hesitate to get in touch with your child’s teachers, as we are here to help support the entire family in this educational journey.”

Hobbies and Interests

In Ms. Brubaker’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs. She loves to hunt, fish, hike, and do anything outdoors. She also likes to read, cook, and play card games and board games.
