Why I Became a Teacher
I became a teacher because of a teacher I had in high school who helped me to enjoy a subject that I didn’t really like before. He had high expectations, and I rose to the occasion. I want to help my students in a similar way to be the best that they can.

The Online School Experience at Wyoming Connections Academy
An education at WYCA helps prepare students for a bright and successful future because the program is rigorous and challenging and helps students learn many skills beyond the concepts in their courses. I love teaching at WYCA because I enjoy the people I get to work with: my colleagues, my students, and their families. What I appreciate the most is getting to know my students on an individual basis.
Message for Families Considering Online School
If there was one thing I could tell a prospective parent, I’d encourage them to be actively supportive and involved in their student’s learning because that has a big impact on the student’s success.
