Ms. Romrell began her teaching career when she joined WYCA in 2014. She now teaches kindergarten through eighth grade. Learn more about Ms. Romrell’s story below.
“My parents were both educators and I loved going to the school with them. In high school, I had the opportunity to work in the special ed room and I fell in love with the students. I knew from then on that I wanted to be a special ed teacher, so I worked as a special ed para-professional throughout college.
WYCA helps prepare students for a successful future by giving them the tools they need to succeed. There are a variety of different courses to choose from so they can start thinking about what they want to do when they graduate. The connection that I have with my students and their Learning Coaches is so great. I would not be able to build a relationship with my students like I do at WYCA if I worked in a bricks-and-mortar school. This is an awesome school! You will not regret your decision to enroll with WYCA.”
Outside of teaching, Ms. Romrell is a mother to three boys, two of which are twins. She loves to be outdoors and especially enjoys camping, hiking, and fishing.
