Lindsey Toth is a counselor at Washington Connections Academy (WACA). She began counseling in 2008 and joined the school in 2019. She received her bachelor’s degree in human development from Washington State University and a master’s degree in school counseling from Gonzaga University. Ms. Toth shares more about her experience below:
“I love building relationships with students and families and being a safe person that students can come to when they need support. I am excited to be able to offer students support in a school setting that best fits their personal needs and interests.
“Online school provides students with a flexible environment that meets their educational needs. It also gives me the ability to work from home and be more present for my own children.
“Students at Washington Connections Academy have the ability to focus their attention on the things that are most important to them [and] the ability to learn in an environment that feels safe and comfortable and that is flexible and accommodating.
“WACA is structured and rigorous but flexible and accommodating for all of our families.”
When she’s not counseling students, Ms. Toth spends time with her husband and twin five-year-olds. She loves being outdoors—snowboarding, spending days at the lake, and riding bikes with her family.
I love building relationships with students and families!
