Students place 2nd in national engineering competition

After winning the 2013 Pennsylvania Real World Design Competition in February, a team of seven Commonwealth Connections Academy students place second in the country at the National RWDC engineering competition. The team's challenge, to design an unmanned aerial vehicle to rescue a lost child in New Mexico, involved utilizing engineering software to plan the mission while minimizing total cost of the rescue.
