State Testing Status

  • State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) testing has been canceled for the 2019-2020 school year. The school leader will be working with teachers, students, and families on support for meeting promotion criteria and meeting graduation requirements this school year.

Additional information will be updated as it becomes available.

A Note From the School Leader

Our first priority is the safety and well-being of our families and our school staff. TCAH is open with all staff working from home but all face-to-face activities have been canceled through April 10. Students will be able to continue accessing the curriculum and completing lessons. Please keep in mind that some staff may have to work on an adjusted schedule during this time. In those cases, staff members will communicate adjusted schedules to their students. TCAH families may receive automatic calls from Houston ISD regarding the status of the brick and mortar schools in the district. For information specific to TCAH, refer to Webmail in Connexus.
