Kylie Hall is a high school student at Tennessee Connections Academy. Kylie has found Connections Academy® to be the perfect fit for her in terms of flexibility, as she can maintain a busy traveling schedule while receiving a high-quality education. She shares her story below:

“When I decided to attend Tennessee Connections Academy for my senior year, it was a great decision. It’s easy to wrap my school schedule around my travel schedule. If I miss a LiveLesson® session, the teachers will record it and allow me to come back to it later. This helps tremendously, so I don’t miss anything important.

The teachers are excellent in the program because they make sure you are on track and do the best that you can. They will get in touch with you by phone, or you can book a session with them online if you need to talk to them. The interaction in this program is unreal in a good way. It makes you feel like you have people there who are trying to help you, and it gives you the academic backbone needed in school.

My favorite subject is Bridge Math. Math is the only subject that I have ever liked. It’s my favorite because the curriculum is so straightforward. My teacher makes sure in the LiveLesson rooms that there is no student left behind. If I need help with anything, my teachers will get back to me within the same day or the next day.”

Outside of school, Kylie enjoys going to the movies, going out to eat, and hanging out at the mall with her friends. After graduation, Kylie plans to pursue a degree in criminal justice from a four-year college. She says, “I haven’t decided if I want to be a detective or become part of the FBI, but I am leaning more toward the FBI. Tennessee Connections Academy has helped prepare me for my future because the Senior Success class helped me complete my Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and fill out college applications. I wouldn’t have been able to figure it out on my own.”

I love Connections Academy because it is flexible, easy to understand, and prepares you for college.
