Christine Pulizzi is a high school teacher at Reach Cyber Charter School (Reach Cyber). She holds a bachelor’s degree from Bloomsburg University and a master’s degree in education from Northeastern University. Ms. Pulizzi started her career in 2003, beginning in traditional brick-and-mortar schools, and then began teaching in an online school setting in 2016. She shares more below.
“My ninth grade history teacher was my favorite teacher growing up. She really challenged me, while also bringing history to life. It was my hardest course ever, but also the most enjoyable! I wanted to become a teacher because I felt a calling to do so. My favorite thing about teaching at a school like Reach Cyber is that I have a great team to work and collaborate with in order to meet the needs of our students. My favorite lessons to teach are on the American Revolution.”
When she’s not teaching, Ms. Pulizzi can be found spending time with her six kids. They enjoy swimming, biking, hiking, and watching movies. When she has free time, she enjoys reading and the occasional girls’ night.
