Why I Became an Educator
I did not choose teaching; teaching chose me. I’ve always had a passion for the English language, literature, and helping others—particularly young people—but never thought of myself as the teaching type until I realized that my first plan wasn’t for me. I’m glad I took a leap of faith, as I love being an educator.

I enjoy making one-on-one connections with students and their families. With online school, I know my students and their families better, and can devote more time to them individually.

Hobbies and Interests
I enjoy camping, snow skiing, singing, dancing, going to the beach, and spending time with family. I also collect old books, and my greatest find so far is a 1st edition of 1984 by George Orwell. I name any vehicle I have had after a starlet from the Golden Age of Hollywood!
