Danielle Porter is a secondary school teacher at Oklahoma Connections Academy (OKCA). A teacher since 2009, she has been teaching at OKCA since 2013. Ms. Porter holds a bachelor of science degree in elementary education (with concentrations in middle school English and science) and a bachelor of arts from Loyola University at Chicago.
“I decided to become a teacher because I have always loved learning. I wanted to share and explore learning and education with others. I enjoy teaching at OKCA because I love being able to talk to and teach my students one-on-one. I get to know my students and their families so much more because I talk with them at least once a week.”
Virtual schooling is a lot of hard work, but it is so worth it!
