OCA teacher Ms McKinnon

Ms. McKinnon is an elementary school teacher at Ohio Connections Academy (OCA). She started teaching in 2002 and joined OCA in2006. She holds a master of education degree in curriculum and instruction from Grand Canyon University. Learn more about Ms. McKinnon’s story below:

“I love teaching at OCA. For me, the benefit of teaching at an online school versus a bricks-and-mortar school is the close academic relationship that we can build together. I work very closely with each Learning Coach to make sure that the student is achieving his or her best potential.

One thing that I would tell a prospective parent when making the decision to enroll at OCA is that this is a great opportunity to be involved with your child’s education. You are able to create a new academic relationship with your child and watch him or her excel each day at home.”
