Louisiana Connections Academy Will Open for the 2016-17 School Year on Monday, Aug. 22

(Baton Rouge, LA) August 15, 2016 — Due to the magnitude of the catastrophic devastation and loss of communication caused by the recent weather in Baton Rouge and surrounding communities, Louisiana Connections Academy, an online public school for students in grades K-12 from across the state, will be open for the 2016-17 school year on Aug. 22.

The opening of school was delayed by one week due to record flooding in the region that displaced students, faculty and staff.

For Louisiana Connections Academy families who have experienced loss due to flooding, please contact the helpline at 800-382-6010 for assistance with replacement materials.
