“We’re starting our 12th year of serving students, and we’re serving more students than ever, in more schools than ever – this demand, by families seeking an alternative to the traditional classroom, is truly our greatest motivator.  We are committed to these families and building the best online school program to help students achieve both academically and personally,” noted Barbara Dreyer, president of Connections Academy.

“I’m very proud that, thanks to the hard work of our talented teachers and staff, as we’ve grown, we’ve remained focused on quality and innovation.  Year after year our parent satisfaction results are very strong across the board – from the quality of our award-winning curriculum to the helpfulness of the teachers. And as we start the new school year, so do our recent graduates… at some of the nation’s top colleges!”

This year, Connections Academy  students in grade 9 through 12 have access to over 20 different online CTE courses that allow them to explore a variety of careers, and gain career-specific knowledge in fields such as sociology, criminal justice, law, astronomy, finance and more. Each course links school-based learning with knowledge and skills required for success in the workplace. In addition, students in grades K–12 can take part in Juilliard eLearning, online music courses designed to provide a strong foundation in music theory, composition, and notation through hands-on music activities and the study of music repertoire.  The online music courses also include presentations and demonstrations by faculty, alumni, and students from the world-renowned Juilliard School in New York City.

All schools supported by Connections Academy have officially commenced, but enrollment is still open for most schools. Educators encourage parents and students interested in full-time virtual public school to visit the Connections Academy website to learn more about the options in their area (School Availability).
