Eri

Elementary Student

Eri is in the third grade at Missouri Connections Academy. According to his mother, Esther, the family enrolled all their children in our online school because the flexible schedule enables them to learn at their own pace and focus more on subjects they love.

A Supportive, Personalized Learning Environment

Reports Esther, “Online school gives us more control over our learning schedule, which has been great for balancing academics with other activities and family time. We also wanted to provide the kids with a personalized learning experience that caters to their individual needs.”

Esther added that Missouri Connections Academy offers a supportive learning environment with high-quality, engaging courses.

Making the transition to online learning did require a few adjustments, Esther said. They had to create a structured daily routine to maintain a balance between schoolwork and free time. They also set up a dedicated learning space free from distractions to make sure the kids stay engaged and motivated.

The Benefits of Being Involved

With those challenges there have been many benefits. “Being more involved in our children’s day-to-day education has led to positive changes for our family,” Esther said. “We also appreciate the strong support from teachers and their ability to tailor the experience to meet each child’s learning needs.”

Esther added that Eri enjoys coding, language arts, science, and reading. Additionally, he deeply loves his family and enjoys exploring nature through various adventures.

In recognition of Eri’s hard work and outstanding participation in class, his teacher, Ms. Burkemper, nominated him to be one of Missouri Connections Academy’s “Spotlight Students” for the month of October.

Eri always has a smile on his face and comes to LiveLesson® sessions ready to learn. He’s an active participant, does amazingly in his classes, and stays on track with his lessons.
