Hardware and Connectivity

Computer

All TEC Connections Academy Commonwealth Virtual School (TECCA) families are responsible for providing their own computer. Before using your own computer, make sure to check our minimum system requirements.

As part of a pilot program being introduced in the 2017–18 school year, households with students enrolled in grades 4, 5, 7, and 8 will receive one Chromebook laptop per student. Though Chromebooks will be provided, students in the eligible grades will also need a standard PC computer with traditional software in order to complete required coursework.

If your household income is at or below Federal Income Eligibility Guidelines, you will be eligible to request a computer. Please refer to your school handbook for details.

Internet Service

TECCA households are responsible for providing their own Internet service.

If your household income is at or below Federal Income Eligibility Guidelines, you will be eligible to request a subsidy towards the cost of your household Internet service. Please refer to your school handbook for details.

Printer

All TECCA households are responsible for providing their own printer.
