Roger Young

Alexandria Clay is a special education teacher at Maine Connections Academy (MCA). She holds a bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of Maine at Augusta, and is working towards a master’s degree in special education from the University of Maine, Farmington. Ms. Clay began teaching special education at MCA in 2016. She shares more about herself below.

“I wanted to become a teacher ever since I was young because every child learns differently and I have always wanted to help others learn. I love being a part of MCA because online schooling is an eccentric way of learning instruction, and the people I work with are so helpful and amazing! It is fascinating to see how far education has come.”

Outside of teaching, Ms. Clay enjoys playing ultimate Frisbee.
