Elisabeth is a high school student at Maine Connections Academy (MCA). She is from New Gloucester, Maine. Elisabeth joined the school as a sophomore and is now enjoying the innovative online curriculum.
Elisabeth is thriving at MCA because she is able to juggle her love of sports with her rigorous academic workload. A self-proclaimed “bookworm,” her favorite subject is English. Elisabeth especially enjoys the extensive amount of writing that she gets to do in the class. She was recently elected as an MCA star student.
In the fall and winter months, Elisabeth focuses her high energy and free time on the demands of cheerleading training and performances at local events and games.
Elisabeth is not sure what she wants to do when she is older, but she has considered architecture, psychology, medicine, and journalism.
MCA’s scheduling flexibility enables me to work around a demanding sports schedule during the winter months. In the fall and spring, I can focus on both getting ahead and taking my time to enhance learning.
