Meet Our Kansas Connections Academy School Leader
Mandi Adams has spent 10 years in education, with her time split evenly between brick-and-mortar schools and Kansas Connections Academy (KCA). Prior to becoming the school leader for KCA, she served as KCA’s assistant principal for two years. During her time in a traditional school setting, Ms. Adams worked with the International Baccalaureate® program, taught Advanced Placement® courses*, and coached debate and forensics.
Ms. Adams chose virtual education for the freedom it provides families and students; she believes virtual options should become a part of the status quo in education. She is working on her doctoral degree in education policy and looks forward to continuing to lead KCA in supporting all students and helping them achieve academic success.
Outside of KCA, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three-year-old son, reading, hiking, and drinking coffee.
Ms. Adams appreciates connecting with each KCA family and encourages all stakeholders to reach out at any time.
