Students are Making Good Progress

Over 95% of our parents say their children are satisfied with our program and are pleased with their child’s academic growth.

IACA allows me to engage in my students learning and guide them through school and life experiences. With this education method, my children don’t have as much academic stress or any of the other problems that are caused by other students who are not focused in a traditional classroom setting.

I’m pleased to report that Iowa Connections Academy is the real deal! It is an Iowa public school with an available teacher for each class and a graduation ceremony with a diploma at the end of the senior year. There are live online classes, clubs and activities, and opportunities to connect with other students online and in person. While some of the elective classes wouldn’t be available for our twins, Justin and Cody, (now in seventh grade) until high school, others are right in line with their interests.

For our family, this has been a wonderful way to transition from homeschooling. I really appreciate the flexibility that Iowa Connections Academy offers.

Technology Enhances the Learning Experience

Nearly 92% of families agreed that our technology tools helped to improve their children’s learning experiences. Many parents appreciated our proprietary Learning Management System for helping to keep them organized with grade tracking, scheduling, and communication.

With Iowa Connections Academy, we can arrange our schedule to include school, everyone’s special appointments, and everyday life. I am able to work around school time with meetings, housework, errands, and anything else we have to do. The online calendar helps me plan around everyone’s schedule week-to-week.

Now, even if I have to be at work, I can log on and see what assignments the boys have. At a glance, we can look at their schoolwork for the week and decide which assignments they will need my help with, and which they can complete on their own.

I love the way everything is laid out online. It has helped make the entire learning experience manageable.

The Curriculum is High Quality

Over 96% of our parents agree that our curriculum is high quality. IACA strives to bring together the best educational resources in order to create challenging and inspiring lessons for students.

The material is challenging even for my bright kids. Critical thinking is an excellent piece of curriculum. Being self paced is great.

I like how fluid it is. I can change the lesson configurations to keep up with my child’s interests and difficulties.

The curriculum is well organized and the lessons are easy to follow.

I love the fact that the books are all provided for you along with the curriculum. The Skills Tutor and Brain Pop® are wonderful. I'm enjoying the easy use of the computer for scheduling and attendance.

Everything is geared to my child. Her strengths and weaknesses are all taken into consideration as the curriculum is set for her. She is in charge of her learning.
