Field Trips of Our Idaho Online School

Bringing Lessons and Friendships to Life

Inspire Connections Academy online school offers field trips throughout the year that are both educational and fun. At Inspire, we know outdoor play is essential to students’ social development and overall health. So our regularly scheduled field trips provide plenty of opportunities for virtual school students and their families to get together outdoors—whether it’s exploring the volcanic landscape at the Craters of the Moon National Park or just tossing a Frisbee in one of Idaho’s regional parks.

Community coordinators, parents, and teachers arrange trips to venues such as museums, historic sites, botanical gardens, and state parks. There are even non-school-related outings like picnics, roller skating, and more!

Our school field trips offer excellent opportunities to meet other parents, students, and teachers face-to-face, but they also provide an opportunity to round out the virtual school experience in real-world ways. Through educational field trips, students learn life lessons that build upon their course lessons while also making meaningful connections with their peers.

Exploring College and Beyond

Inspire offers field trips to colleges and universities, college fairs, and even businesses for virtual online middle and high school students so they may explore and prepare for the future. The optional Career Club allows students to learn about potential careers and explore fields that interest them, while the College Planning Club guides high school students through the college preparation and admissions process.
