Caimbrin Mitchell
Language Arts and Science
Caimbrin Mitchell is a language arts and science teacher for elementary school students at Florida Connections Academy (FCA). She began her teaching career in 2010 and joined Connections Academy in 2013. Ms. Mitchell also holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida in elementary education, as well as reading and English to speakers of other languages (ESOL) endorsements.
To parents who are deciding whether FCA is right for their student, Ms. Mitchell says, "You are going to love the personalization and flexibility of our school. Students will get what they need, whether that means extra support to break down a skill or more of a challenge because they have mastered the concept. We work as a team with you to ensure your child is getting the best education possible.

"I believe wholeheartedly in virtual education. I have taught in both brick-and-mortar schools and in virtual education. The main thing that I love about Connections Academy is that all students have the opportunity to learn and grow at a comfortable pace. Students get exactly what they need, whether they are gifted and need to be taken further in their thinking, are struggling with a concept and need to have it broken down, or are somewhere in between. The communication between teachers, parents, and students is what allows our students to be so successful".
Outside of teaching, Ms. Mitchell loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, watching movies, and trying new foods.
