Why I Became a Teacher
I come from a large family made up of teachers across the country. I’ve always been around educators and the education profession, and it just seemed natural for me to go into this career field. I enjoy working with children and having a positive impact on their futures in education and beyond. I have a passion for the English language. I love writing and reading, and was blessed to be able to translate that passion into a career for the past five and a half years. Knowing that I’m teaching students how to write effectively and successfully and how to read efficiently and comprehensively is what keeps me going and provides me with the greatest reward in my job.
