Why I Became a Teacher
I knew from a very young age that I wanted to be a teacher. I often played "school" as a child and knew that teaching would be my dream job. I always had a strong drive to not only help others, but to inspire students to be the best version of themselves.
I love teaching at Coastal Connections Academy. My favorite part is working with my kiddos in LiveLesson® sessions. I feel so blessed to be able to work from the comfort of my home with all that's going on around us and feel honored to work with so many amazing families. I love the flexibility our program provides our students and Learning Coaches. I also really enjoy working with our Learning Coaches.

The Online School Experience at Coastal Connections Academy
The school fosters student engagement with their courses and with each other by encouraging them to attend LiveLesson® sessions weekly for language arts and math, and to participate in Nearpods, Kahoots!, and other interactive, fun learning platforms. We also have Fun Fridays and spirit days when we get together just for fun and have a good time.

My Interests
I am married and have two daughters, Ali and Ava. We enjoy bike riding, nature trail walking, and riding on our golf cart. We also have a little Frenchie named Maggie, who is the love of our lives.
