Why I Became a Teacher
I became a teacher because I realized I didn’t want to follow the nursing path, which was my dad’s idea. I always loved kids, and once I began pursuing a degree in education, I knew it was the place for me.
The Online School Experience at Arkansas Connections Academy
Arkansas Connections Academy prepares students by ensuring the lines of communication are strong. Students are given individualized support and the opportunity to be themselves, without the pressures of a traditional classroom.
All our teachers, administrators, parents, and students make our school community special. There’s a certain uniqueness that’s genuine. I love the connections I’m making with the families.

The Benefits of K‒12 Online Learning
The benefit to teaching online is that I need to think outside the box. I get to be creative when communicating and teaching.
Hobbies and Interests
I love cooking new recipes, the outdoors, and true crime everything (podcast, documentaries, TV shows).
