Amanda Dodge is an elementary teacher at Arkansas Connections Academy (ARCA). She began her teaching career in 2013 and joined ARCA in 2016. Mrs. Dodge earned her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She explains what she likes about teaching at ARCA below:
"I felt the “calling” to become an educator after I had my own children. I want to inspire children to reach their fullest potential. In online school, the data available at your fingertips is amazing, as well as the opportunity to work more one-on-one with students. At ARCA, the Learning Coaches and teachers work as a team to ensure each student’s success. I love my team and my students—we are very close!
I would tell a prospective parent that your student will be able to think critically, and will have exposure to top-notch curriculum. Enrolling with ARCA is a wonderful opportunity to have an active role in your child’s learning with the support of a fabulous teaching and administrative staff."
