About Jack

Jack graduated from Oregon Connections Academy in 2018. While getting his high school diploma, he started a volunteer program at his town’s fire station for young people interested in careers in fire service.

About Noelle

Noelle is a 2018 graduate of Minnesota Connections Academy. She went on to graduate in May 2019 from the Navy’s Air Traffic Control (ATC) school in Pensacola, Florida. She credits her experience in online school for teaching her independent study habits.

About Richard

Richard joined Indiana Connections Academy in eighth grade due to health issues. He served as student government president for two years and National Honor Society president for one year. He now attends Tennessee Tech University, majoring in mechanical engineering.

Nygel, one of the best young cellists in the U.S., spent his entire K–12 education online with Minnesota Connections Academy. Next up for Nygel, an honors student and 2019 Sphinx winner: the Curtis Institute of Music.

Kalyany has soared to gymnastics and school success with Colorado Connections Academy supporting her education and need for flexibility. Since she was 6 years old, she has trained and competed with #ColoradoArielsGymnastics. UCLA’s head gymnastics coach saw her in action and offered Kalyany a full-ride scholarship. In the fall, her journey continues at UCLA!

With the help of online learning, National Honor Society student Emma was able to advance her learning at her own pace. A standout graduate from New Mexico Connections Academy, Emma is now heading for Arizona State University in the fall, having received a four-year Presidential Scholarship awarded for academic excellence. Congrats, Emma!
