Texas Connections Academy @ Houston is a tuition-free online public school that students in grades 3–12 attend from home. Part of the Houston Independent School District, Texas Connections Academy is state certified and open to students located throughout Texas, including Austin, Dallas, El Paso, Laredo, Amarillo, Fort Worth, and beyond.

Texas Connections Academy is provided in partnership with the Houston Independent School District (HISD) under the terms of the Texas Electronic Course Program (eCP) and Texas Online Schools (TxOLS). TCAH operates as an approved HISD campus charter and is accredited through HISD. The school serves students statewide and follows a standard school calendar.
