TCAH Field Trips

Bringing Lessons to Life

Whether experiencing the historic past on a 1900's era farmstead or a re-enactment of the Battle of Goliad at a regional theater, enjoying the present at nature and wildlife preserves, or imagining the future at world-class planetariums and science museums, students make Texas part of the classroom at TCAH.

At TCAH, field trips bring classroom lessons to life and give students the opportunity to meet and make friends. Parents and siblings are welcome to join as teachers lead TCAH students on trips that combine adventure, fun, and education:

  • Nature preserves where students explore the interconnections of biology, ecology, and geology.
  • Cultural outings that deepen their understanding of art, music, and theater.
  • History tours that vividly trace the impact of the past on the present.
  • Excursions that connect math and science concepts to practical living and working applications.
