As principal of Texas Connections Academy since 2009, Lea Ann believes in challenging the norm and providing alternatives to the traditional brick and mortar school. An education innovator, she's been recognized as the Texas Education Support Association's Administrator of the Year and received the National Dropout Prevention Network's Crystal Star Award of Excellence. She shares her expertise on topics ranging from curriculum and instruction to collaboration and leadership at local, state, and national conferences and on various educational groups and committees.
A committed volunteer, Lea Ann served four years as an EMT in rural communities and currently serves as chairman of the Spring Branch Public Safety Cooperative and on the Meadows Marlins Swim Team Board.
