Amanda has been in education for 12 years serving as a public school teacher, a private school teacher and most recently, a virtual school teacher and administrator at SCCA. Amanda's teaching career began in 2001 at a brick and mortar middle school in Los Angeles, California where she taught seventh grade English Language Arts and coached
Following that, she began her career at SCCA in the 2009-2010 school year, teaching high school English. She went on to serve as both the High School Assistant Principal and High School Principal, prior to being appointed SCCA's newest Executive Director.
Amanda is passionate about virtual schooling and believes that all students can learn at the highest levels. In her spare time, Amanda volunteers in her community. She loves to travel and enjoys spending time with her husband and their 5 year old daughter.
