Refurbished Systems
There is a possibility you will receive a desktop or laptop computer with slightly lower processing speed and a smaller hard drive since computers are returned and reused when students leave the school. All other specifications are the same, and all computers are recent models of high-end, business-quality machines. All used computers are completely cleaned and re-imaged. (All prior software and content is removed and replaced with a completely new software and operating system installation.) All computers supplied by Connections Academy receive full technical support. Desktop and laptop computers are typically replaced every three to four years, depending on usage.
Printers
Printers are provided to students at some Connections Academy schools. Printers supplied by Connections Academy are HP Color Deskjet printers. Printers come with one tri-color ink cartridge and a USB cable. Printers meet the following specifications:
- USB-connected
- B/W print speed up to 12.5 PPM
- Color print speed up to 12.5 PPM
- Resolution up to 4800x1200 dpi
