Title I Compliance
The United States Department of Education, in compliance with Title I law, requires school districts to display the following information on their websites:
- The number of students who were eligible for and who participated in Public School Choice (PSC), for those years in which PSC was offered.
During school year 2010–11, of the 3,648 students who were eligible, zero (0) students chose to participate in the Public School Choice option.
- The number of students who were eligible for and who participated in Supplemental Educational Services (SES), for those years in which SES was offered.
This information will be available in September 2012 as OCA is implementing SES for the first time in school year 2011–12.
- A list of schools to which students may transfer in the current school year upon selecting the PSC option.

- A list of SES service providers approved by the Ohio Department of Education that are available to provide SES services within the current school year.

IDEA
Public Participation Meeting Notice: Ohio Connections Academy receives federal funding through the Special Education - IDEA (Part B) grant to assist with education of handicapped children, ages 3 through 21. Community members who would like to have input into the planning of the use of the federal IDEA funds are welcome to provide comment during our public hearing to be held on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 4:30pm at the OCA offices located in Mason, Ohio at 5181 Natorp Blvd., Suite 410. Please contact Erin Griffiths for dial-in information if you are unable to attend in person, but would like to attend via teleconference.
