"Miss Franz makes the math lessons so interesting that it is easy to understand. Also, in that class, no one else knows if you made a mistake. During the literature LiveLesson® session, Miss Molly takes the readings to a new level and lets the kids feel confident in answering questions out loud. She has a way of building the kids’ confidence even when they feel unsure of themselves. Because of the positive feedback she gives them, they want to participate and discuss more. This really makes a difference in the overall scheme of things."

"I have always found OCA has the emphasis on mastery of skills, not busy work. You can tailor the lessons to suit your child’s learning style and individual skill set. You are able to enter custom lessons when you do learning activities on your own, which is so nice. I love to do extras, such as field trips, plays, hiking, cooking projects, etc."
"Our kids are college prep and take a lot of AP classes. It’s been great because they’ve been able to learn at the level they’re at. It matches what they want to accomplish. I didn’t get that kind of challenge at public school. I’m glad my kids are better prepared to go to college than I was."

"When using the teaching tutorials, my children can pause or rewind without it interfering with other students. The students are truly able to work at their own pace. The LiveLessons® sessions are also recorded so you can go back on the link and refresh your memory or get something you didn’t get during the LiveLesson® session; This helps them to better understand the subject matter and build a stronger foundation."
