Hudson Schick
Hudson is a six-year-old first grade student at Michigan Connections Academy (MICA). He is from Howell, Michigan. When he grows up, Hudson wants to be a construction worker. His mother tells his story below.
"Hudson loves playing soccer and has recently signed up to play football in the fall. His favorite part about being a MICA student is being able to spend all day with his siblings. His favorite thing to do is watch BrainPop® videos and all the extra games and activities he gets to play on the computer. He enjoys all the field trips he gets to participate in and that he can go on these with his whole family.
Hudson loves all of the books MICA sent him for language arts and has learned to read without any tears. He enjoys talking to his teacher on the phone and attending his reading group every week. He also likes that if he has a question he can ask not only his mom, who is his Learning Coach, but any of his brothers or sister and they will help explain something or get him started on an assignment. He is already excited about first grade in the fall."
