KCA Field Trips

Bringing Lessons to Life

From historic Dodge City to the space age Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center, Kansas’ diverse resources are part of the curriculum at KCA. With dedicated teachers and help from our Community Coordinators, our field trips throughout the state bring classroom lessons to life through:

  • Nature outings that highlight our state’s wildlife and ecosystems.
  • History tours that trace the impact of the past on the present.
  • Museum visits and excursions that connect classroom concepts to real-world applications.

Exploring Life after Graduation

To help high school students exploring career and college options, we offer field trips to colleges and universities, college fairs, and businesses.

Just for Fun

At KCA, we’re as committed to students’ social development as their academic achievement.  With contests and popular events like our “Bowl Across Kansas” outing and end-of-year picnics, students and parents also get together just for the fun of it!
