I have lived in Southwest Kansas with my husband of 15 years and our 4 children since 2005. I am blessed to be a stay at home mom who enjoys time with my family and a few different hobbies.

I was first introduced to KCA by a KCA parent who has two children enrolled in the school. She had nothing but great things to say about KCA's program! After a little research, I made the decision to give KCA a try.

Our son Daniel, a fifth grader, has had a great first year! He has the ambition of being a professional golfer. Because of flexible school schedule, he has time to prepare for his golf season.

The curriculum has been impressive and challenging. The virtual LiveLesson® sessions with the teachers and the staff support amazing. I am able to really be involved in Daniel's school work daily, attend educationally filled field trips and know that he is getting a quality education.

I am Shandell Timken. I am married to Darren. We have two wonderful kids, Ryne and Jassandra. Before Connections Academy, my kids were attending a different virtual school, which ultimately founded Connections Academy. Our former virtual school was so impressed with Connections Academy’s curriculum that they showed it to us. We also loved it!

Our virtual school decided to merge with Connections Academy making Kansas Connections Academy and we made the merge with them. Kansas Connections Academy works for our family because of the flexibility it has. The flexibility works with our children’s health care needs.
