Sherri Hurn

Sherri Hurn has been a driving force at KCA since our beginnings as Elkhart Cyber School in 2001–serving as our
first program director, helping write state virtual school regulations, advocating before the state legislature and Board of Education, and serving on the state
virtual school advisory board.
As a former 6th grade teacher in a traditional classroom, Ms. Hurn appreciates how virtual education empowers teachers to individualize instruction to each student’s needs. As an educator for 18 years, she’s still excited about bringing the freedom, flexibility, and academic challenge of online learning to more students and their families.

Ms. Hurn holds Masters’ degrees in Instructional Technology from West Texas A&M University and Educational Leadership from Fort Hays State University in Hays, KS.
