In Monday’s LiveLesson® session, Ms. Powell explains how to use parametric equations to predict a projectile’s trajectory and range. The class reviews the online textbook chapter together and checks out a Teachlet® on parametric equations to solidify the day’s lesson. Ms. Powell follows up by WebMail® and phone with a student needing a little extra help. By Friday, the class sees firsthand how math fueled the space race in a visit to the famous Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center.
