INSPIRE Field Trips

Bringing Students Together to Play, Learn, and Grow

At INSPIRE, we know outdoor play is to students’ social development and overall health. So our regularly scheduled field trips provide plenty of opportunities for students and their families to get together outdoors—whether it’s exploring the volcanic landscape at the Craters of the Moon National Park or just tossing a Frisbee in one of Idaho’s regional parks.

Here are just a few of our activities that promote fun, fitness, and friendships:

  • Afternoons in the Park  where families meet in parks across the state to picnic, fly kites, play ball, or simply relax and talk.
  • Pets on Parade events where  families learn from one another about some of our favorite creatures.
  • Post ISAT socials where students can relax after state testing with bowling, pizza, and board games.

A Corn-Mazing Success

Our students voted with their feet this year for our most popular type of field trip. More than 211 students, family members, and friends joined us at corn mazes around the state. Our thanks to the volunteer coordinators and dedicated teachers who led the way.

Bringing the Fun to Your Area

Idaho is a big state, but INSPIRE is committed to getting all our students involved in the fun – whether they live in Boise, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho Falls, Twin Falls or any of the beautiful small communities in between.  So our teachers travel the state every month to bring the fun to each of Idaho’s four main population centers.  And, with dedicated volunteer Community Coordinators and a network of “connected” parents, it’s easier than you think to find an outing close to home.
