Delanie Ross
Delanie is an outgoing INSPIRE, the Idaho Connections Academy graduate. She lives in Emmett, Idaho, just a little outside of Boise. Delanie enjoys writing, traveling, playing the cello, is skilled in American Sign Language and a dedicated volunteer in her community.
Attending a full-time virtual school has opened many doors for Delanie. She will enthusiastically tell you that what she loves most about INSPIRE is "the endless opportunities!" Delanie has been a student at INSPIRE since the school started in Idaho five years ago. She takes full advantage of the ability to arrange her schedule around life's experiences. Delanie says "I'm happy and I know it's because every day I go to school in the real world, learning from books and life's spontaneous experiences. I wake up every day curious about what I will learn next."
In addition to being an Honor Student, she finds time to do volunteer work in a variety of areas, is proficient in American Sign Language, takes cello (and soon voice lessons), enjoys writing and volunteering doing construction projects such as tiling and hanging drywall. She's traveled to over 20 states in America and Canada and hopes to add more places soon!
