As a public school open to Florida residents, FLVS Full Time middle and high school students take a standard public school course load of six courses per semester. Students must meet all public school requirements for attendance and graduation, including standardized test participation. FLVS Full Time grants diplomas to graduating high school seniors. Visit the FLVS Full Time Hub for grades 6–12 to learn more.

Kindergarten–12 Homeschool Enrollment

A full-time or part-time selection of courses in grades Kindergarten–12 is available to Florida students. Participants in homeschool are considered home education students and are required to register as such with their resident school district. Home education students are not eligible to receive a diploma from Florida Virtual School or participate in ESE or ELL services that may be provided to public school students. Parents must comply with the state of Florida Home Education statutes, including annual evaluation requirements found in f.s. 1002.41. Homeschool students can easily transfer to the public school prior to their senior year to graduate with a diploma. Visit the FLVS Homeschool Hub to learn more.
