Enrollment for the District Virtual Instruction Program (grades K–12) will close on September 10, 2010 at 5:00 PM ET.
August 2010 update: we have earned an “A” from the Florida Department of Education for 4 years in a row—2007 through 2010. The school also met the high standards for No Child Left Behind’s Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) for the 2009–10 school year.
This school year, we have expanded to serve more grades. We offer two programs: District Virtual Instruction Program (grades K–12) and Home Education Program (grades 6–12).
We have added participating districts for the 2010–11 school year. Please check regularly for updates.
Florida Virtual School and Connections Academy, both long-time leaders in online learning have joined forces to become “Florida Virtual School Full Time or “FLVS FT.”
Florida Virtual School Full Time provides a new form of school that students can attend from home. This unique program combines
- the expertise and accountability of publicly funded education,
- strong parental involvement,
- and the flexibility of online classes.
Tuition-free School for Grades K–12
FLVS FT is a K–12 virtual school provider that has been approved by the Florida Department of Education and the Florida legislature. There are specific legislative and regulatory limitations concerning eligibility and availability to students in Florida. See our About Us page for more information on whether this program is available in your area. We offer two programs for the 2010–11 School Year:
- District Virtual Instructional Program, a K–12 public school option available to those who meet eligibility requirements in our participating districts. Enroll Now!
