ColoCA Teachers Make a Difference

At ColoCA, we’re committed to retaining the best state-certified teachers available and to giving them all the resources necessary to help each student succeed. In fact, Colorado Connections Academy's Chaille Cummings was honored in 2009 with the first-ever award for Online Elementary Teacher of the year by the Colorado Department of Education, Peggy Barnholt won the same award in 2010. Trained and experienced in online learning and virtual classroom management, our dedicated teachers provide:

• Engaging and effective classroom instruction.
• Individualized attention and one-on-one tutoring as necessary.
• Ongoing communication with students and Learning Coaches.
• Personalized instructional programs and continuous progress tracking.

Within our highly individualized learning system, our teachers know their students—whether they need extra help or a new challenge. Our teachers collaborate to share ideas, information, and teaching techniques with our ColoCA families.
