Miah Santiago
Miah is a ten-year-old fourth grader at Capistrano Connections Academy (CapoCA). She lives in Victorville, California. Miah enjoys cheerleading, singing, animals and making new friends. Her mother tells her story below.
“Miah is full of energy, she is very friendly and she has a heart for people!! Miah loves to sing and she is a cheerleader. She loves to skate and she loves animals. Her favorite subjects are science and art. She loves the videos that are included in her lessons and the available resources that Connections Academy provides like Discovery, Study Island, Raz-kids and Brain Pop Jr. Those are her favorites. She enjoys the LiveLesson® sessions and participating during the lesson has been a blessing.
Miah enjoys talking to her teacher on the phone and she looks forward to Mrs. Shelton's phone calls. As a parent, I love the available resources and the field trips. There are so many different field trips going on. We get to meet new families and learn from them and I really enjoy that. We get to go on the field trip as a family and build new memories together. Miah has made best friends through Connections and now we plan family events together to continue the friendship.”
