Hannah Fernando
Hannah is an 13-year-old seventh grader at Central California Connections Academy (CenCA). She lives in Coalinga, California. Hannah is passionate about dance. Her mother tells her story below.
"Hannah has always been an excellent student. She works hard and always tries to do her best. She is also a dancer. She travels two hours a day, three days a week to study dance at a nationally recognized dance studio and participates in competitions in California and Nevada.
Hannah loves Connections Academy, because it allows her to focus on her school work at her own pace. She has the flexibility that she needs to be able to complete all of her school work without it interfering with her dance schedule. She also has choices for electives, such as foreign language classes, that were not offered at her previous school. She looks forward to starting Middle School at Connections Academy next year!"
