Belinda Shillingburg has been in the education field for ten years. She is currently a teacher at Nevada Connections Academy (NCA). Her experience teaching in the Elementary, Secondary and post-secondary levels gives her a unique understanding of how students learn on different levels and in diverse stages. Belinda's love of learning and desire to constantly challenge herself has led to the pursuit of her Ph.D. and the sharing of strategies she has learned as a scholar with her own virtual school students.

Belinda cares about teaching online, especially for Connections Academy, because she believes that we are the future and we are the now.
